To the viewers’ surprise, Manilyn Reynes entered the stage for an iconic duet of “Pangako!”
Afterward, Alcasid transitioned to perform another one of his classics, originally sung with his wife Regine Velasquez, “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang.” This time, he was joined by Michael V. (a.k.a. Bitoy), who added his own romantic touch to the song!
Finally, the three artists reunited for more of Alcasid’s hits, “Dito Sa Puso Ko,” remixed with The Jacksons’ “Blame It On the Boogie.”
The “Pepito Manaloto” stars were welcomed by “It’s Showtime” hosts Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Kim Chiu, Ryan Bang, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, and the rest of the family. This guesting also marked the first time comedy icons Vice and Bitoy shared the stage!

Everyone shared their birthday wishes for Alcasid starting with Manilyn and Bitoy, who had been friends with the actor/singer/host for over three decades. They reminisced some of their fondest memories together, and even gave a short sample of their previous “Yaya and Angelina” skit on “Bubble Gang.”
“Gusto ko lang magpasalamat siyempre, sa GMA, kasi pinayagan po nila si Bitoy at si Manilyn, talaga namang hindi niyo ipinagdamot itong mga kaibigan ko–mga kumare at kumpare ko,” Alcasid expressed on the show.
