As a culmination of months of creative collaboration and unmatched experiences the WIMterns got from their WIMternship, a graduation-slash-bonding-session at Penbrothers Makati happened last June 11, 2017.

Admins When in Manila Becky, When In Manila Nicole and When In Manila Koji were present to join in on the fun as the graduates, those who’ve completed their 100 hours, celebrated two things: the last leg of their journey as interns and the first of many more experiences as they continue on being a part of the WIM family as contributors.

It was pouring that day, but the rain didn’t stop the youngsters from having an afternoon filled with card and board games. The light atmosphere provided a chance for them to share rounds of laughter.
The WIMterns—from the writing, photography, videography, and graphics teams—gathered to share their unique stories from their coverages, features, and trips!

Lunch was provided by Boodle Fight Manila (www.facebook.com/boodlefightmanila) and boy, was it a tummy-filling boodle fight!
When in Manila CEO and Founder Vince Golangco was also present in the get-together. More than game to give life and career advice to the newly graduated batch of WIMterns, he shared how WhenInManila.com came about and how its community of storytellers and adventure-seekers continue to inspire each other.
He shared about his own ventures in life and how having a heart of courage to try out different things can drive you to help others find their way through life as well. And that’s what When In Manila has all been about–collaboration and inspiration.
Afterwards, there was a short program to acknowledge and give thanks to the WIMterns we’ve shared moments with along the way.
Then a hearty dinner was served by Party Toques (www.facebook.com/gourmadebychefroblau/), while the WIMterns prepared to say their see-you-soons.
Because one thing’s for sure, this is certainly not goodbye.
