At the Big Bold Brave Awards: The Sequel, Nylon Manila recognized the “unapologetic and undaunted voices that help champion this fearless generation”. According to the New York-based magazine, these personalities, brands, and more shape and shake everyday conversations in different spaces online and in real life.
“With a distinctly diverse assemblage of conversation starters and change-makers, the Brave segment highlights not only the passions and perspectives realized in many of the shifts that happened over the past year or so; but also the fearless people that made all of us rethink, recalibrate, and repurpose in different necessary and important capacities,” the publishing company stated.
Nadine Lustre is one of the winners, bagging the “Fearless Internet Clapback” award. Among the nominees for this category were Heart Evangelista, Maris Racal, BryanBoy, and BPI. She also bagged the “Inspiring Personality” award, besting Nobel Peace Prize winner Maria Ressa, news anchor Karmina Constantino, Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz, and Asian Games gold medalist Margielyn Didal.
