Actress Nadine Lustre has no time to waste on haters criticizing her for the way she looks.
On Twitter, the 27-year-old was tagged in a Tweet mocking her for looking “chubby” in a photo wearing a bikini. The netizen even mentioned Nadine’s rumored boyfriend, French-Filipino businessman Christophe Bariou, and claimed that he would eventually be displeased with her if she continues looking that same way.
Verbatim, the tweet read:
“Why @hello_nadine ang chuba muna, wla ang butt, wla ng curve, sbagay wla ka ng insecurities sa ktawan ksi tanggap ka ni chris khit maging big kapa, kso bka pg ngsawa at makakita ng mas bata iwan ka rin. Wg mgpabola ksi hndi ka nman bolang dinidrible think twice or thrice lagi.”
[Translation: “Nadine you look chubby now—no butt nor curves. When you think about it, you don’t have any insecurities with your body because Chris accepts you even if you get bigger. But if he gets sick of you or sees someone younger, he might leave you. Don’t let it all go to your head … Always think twice or thrice.”]
And what was Nadine’s response to this demeaning statement?
“Ew body shamer,” she said.
Nadine’s fans also trooped to the replies to defend her and to slam the body shamer for being so rude to someone they don’t know.
The original tweet has since been deleted.
