The holy week is fast approaching.
Have you already planned how you’ll go back home to your province? To those who are planning to commute this week, here’s a heads up on the schedule of our public trains.
Two days ago, the management of the Philippine National Railways, Metro Railway Transit, and Light Railway Transit announced that they will be suspending operations starting this Maundy Thursday up until Easter Sunday. The four days will be used to conduct repairs and maintenance needed to sustain and better improve the offered railways services.
According to the authorities, normal operations will resume on Monday, April 17, 2017.
In the meantime, passengers can ride other available means of transportation such as busses and vans, although, we should also expect a decrease in the number of their available trips due to the holidays.
It is important to plan ahead of time for a hassle-free travel.
