Morissette: Asia’s Phoenix returns with Bisaya Ballad ‘Ihilak Lang Na’

Morissette’s unparalleled vocal prowess has earned her the title of “Asia’s Phoenix,” enabling her to collaborate with industry legends like Michael Bolton, Ben Adams (A1), and Rick Price, while also sharing the stage with pop icons such as Jessie J, Zara Larsson, AJ Mitchell, and even Alan Menken & Will Smith.

She has represented the Philippines on the global stage multiple times, including singing the official Asia release of A Whole New World for Disney’s live-action Aladdin and performing at the “Asia Song Festival” in Busan, South Korea, in 2017 and 2018—the first artist to perform at the festival for two consecutive years. Her sold-out concerts span across the U.S.A., Dubai, Canada, Australia, Japan, Thailand, London, Switzerland, Italy, and beyond.

Now with Underdog Music, Morissette released her first independent EP entitled Signature in 2022. In this collection of all original music, she takes the mantle of writer, producer, and creative director with the help of her team.
