Miss World Philippines Michelle Dee ends her journey tonight as she was announced as part of the pageant’s top 12.

However, she did not make it to the next round of the competition, which includes the top five. The top five contestants are from Nigeria, Brazil, India, Jamaica, and France.

On December 11, Michelle secured a spot in the Top 40, which meant she would advance to the finals of the pageant. She joined candidates from Moldova, Nepal, Venezuela, Nigeria, Mexico, Guyana, India, Trinidad and Tobago, Paraguay, and more.

Michelle comes from an interesting background as she is an actress and the daughter of Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez and former action film star Derek Dee.

Congratulations to Michelle for making it so far!
