When we eat food, we normally focus on its taste–its juiciness, tenderness, sweetness, and other descriptive nouns that we can come up with when the flavor hits our tongues. Seldom do we think about how it makes us feel. Are we happy? Do we feel comforted? Does it make us feel at home?
Meet Diana Ang Uy, a dedicated woman who has been in the catering business for more than 20 years. In those years, her business, What’s Cookin’ Kitchenette, amassed a long list of clients hailing from different backgrounds–whether corporate or personal–and has kept their trust by being loyal to their company motto: “QUALITY ABOVE ALL, SERVICE WITHOUT COMPROMISE.”
While her food is sure to make your taste buds dance in delight, the stories behind them will guarantee your heart’s happiness as well.

Fresh-eyed and filled with the drive to make good food, Ms. Po Diana Ang started Po Diana Service Inc. in 1991, which was, at the time, something she described as a “one-woman operation.” Cooking, waiting, accounting, and serving food–Diana’s done it all just to keep things afloat. Due to her passion and conviction, her humble beginnings and earnest effort began to bear fruit with the establishment and success of What’s Cookin’ Kitchenette.
This catering service became such a big hit to people because of the incredible food that they serve. By making sure they buy only the best quality of ingredients every time, they are providing the clients an extraordinary gastronomic experience. They also make sure that the menu they serve has a wide variation of dishes. That way, guests can choose from pork, beef, chicken, seafood, vegetable, and pasta choices!
These grilled prawns are so big, juicy, and tender! The creamy lemon butter sauce goes perfectly well with the marinated prawn meat.
Their Aglio Olio with Seafood is also a knockout. The light angel hair pasta in olive oil is sure to leave you wanting more.
This Chicken Parmigiana (bottom-left) is also to die for, oozing with cheesy mozzarella goodness with every soft bite. The Hickory Pork Belly (top-right), on the other hand, is a perfect match to the parmigiana with its smoky spicy-sweet flavor and mouthwatering aroma.
Indulge in their heavenly eclairs–topped with melted Hershey’s chocolate and stuffed with heaps of sweet fluffy cream.
Another palate delight is their blueberry cheesecake squares. These decadent morsels are HEAVY because they’re all cream cheese–no extenders!
However, clients are not only loyal to Diana for the food or the service. They stay with her because of her excellent character.
