After confirming her long-rumored split from her husband Rob Mananquil, Maxene Magalona shared with friends and fans that she has officially moved out of her marital home.
In an Instagram post, Maxene expressed her gratitude to a professional home organizer for helping her pack up her stuff and set up her new apartment which she will now enjoy as a single woman.
“Finally moved out of my marital home and into my own apartment,” she wrote in the caption of her post. “Thank God for living angels such as Ms. Isa Guico Reyes of @neatobsessions and her lovely team led by senior organizer Isay as well the kind kuyas of @transportifyphilippines for helping me practically get my life together with this move. I am forever grateful for the beautiful energy we created and shared together. We played and sang our hearts out to sad love songs while packing my things.”

It was last October when Maxene called herself “single and childless” in a post about self-love, confirming public speculation of her breakup since she dropped her husband’s name from her Instagram handle and unfollowed him back in January. Since then, Maxene would go on solo trips, share clips of herself meditating alone at home, and open up about her mental health. She has also time and time again reminded netizens to respect her privacy, especially with personal matters.
She flew back to Manila in March 2021 after being stranded with Rob in Bali, Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic. Rob reportedly stayed behind to pursue a career as a yoga instructor.
The two married in January 2018.
