“At 51 years old, I finally wore this cap and gown,” she wrote.
“For years, finishing college was a dream tucked away—paused for show business, raising children, public service, business, and building a life. But God never forgot. In His perfect time, He gave me the courage to return, the strength to push through, and the joy of crossing this finish line,” she added.
She also shared that her children were able to witness this unforgettable milestone.
“The sweetest part? My children were there to witness it — taking my photos and videos, handing me flowers and gifts. A moment so surreal, a full circle moment,” she said as she also expressed her gratitude to her loved ones who encouraged her to finish her studies.
Finally, the 51-year-old actress left an inspiring message to her followers: “And to those my age who still carry dreams in their hearts: it’s never too late, and you are never too old, to realize the dreams God placed in you.”
Marjorie graduated from the Philippine Women University. Meanwhile, her son, Leon Barretto, is also set to graduate from the University of Asia and the Pacific this August.
