That’s another win for Manny Pacquiao as he wins the WBA World Welterweight Title over Keith Thurman. Thurman is a former unified welterweight world champion, having held the WBA title since 2015, and previously the WBC title from 2017 to 2018. Today, Thurman was handed his very first loss as Pacquiao has been crowned as the new WBA (Super) welterweight champion after securing a split decision victory.

The fight was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada where Pacquiao arrived along with his wife Jinkee Pacquiao and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, who flew into the US to support him. They are seen walking side by side in this video:
