Just recently, I came upon this quote that says, “Work out because you love your body, not because you hate it.” Shortly after reading it, I realized that my previous exercise attempts might have failed because I did them for the wrong reasons.
And so, last month, I made up my mind and signed up at Anytime Fitness Jupiter not because I hate my belly bumps and fatty arms. Instead, I’ve decided to go for it because I love my body and I’d like to improve it, I love my life and I’d like to live longer, and I love myself and I’d like to be the best version of me.
Soon enough, I found myself hitting the gym after office hours and even on weekends. Anytime Fitness Jupiter is just across my office and I must say, proximity is important. The fact that the place is accessible made the whole workout easier for me. No excuses, I shift from work to workout after 7:00 PM.
The place is indeed for anyone who wants to be fit, anytime and anywhere. Upon registration, members can work out wherever they are and whenever they want. Yup, even when you’re outside the country as long as it’s an Anytime Fitness branch. Isn’t it just perfect for hustling millennials?
Unlike other gyms, they also have free and secure lockers where you can leave your stuff without the fear of losing them. Plus, they have a couple of clean and cozy comfort rooms, shower rooms, and dressing rooms for when you want to freshen up after an hour of sweating and stretching.
After changing to my workout clothes, I start with cardio. To be honest, it’s my least favorite exercise but hey, no skipping because it’s the most important one for a better functioning cardiovascular system. Plus, it’s a fat-burner! Good thing, Anytime Fitness has this up-to-date equipment where you can entertain yourself while working out. You can watch music videos, news, or even browse your own content because it is connected to the internet. Yes, you can watch your favorite series while working out! It’s a win-win!
After cardio, I usually do free weight exercises like squats, lunges, and rows. From dumbbells and barbells to medicine balls and kettlebells, the place has lots of free weights to choose from depending on which body parts you’d like to work-out.
Aside from that, they are also equipped with weight machines that will help and train you on the proper positions needed for certain exercises. Say, you’d like to work on your biceps or upper back, they have machines for that. Don’t worry, lots of friendly trainers are around to guide you if you have no idea what to do.
After my daily routine, I make sure to cool down and stretch to lessen chances of body pain. One of the things I love most about Anytime Fitness is that they have machines for stretching too. No need to wait for a friend or a trainer to stretch your body for you because you can now do it efficiently and effectively on your own!
There are also days when I don’t feel like lifting weights. I give myself a break by joining classes. Alternate exercise group programs are available from Mondays to Fridays and are ranging from Zumba all the way to Cardio Kickboxing. These are perfect for those who are not fans of the usual sets people do on gyms.
All in all, I’m having a great time working out at Anytime Fitness Jupiter and I highly recommend it.
