Egg tarts are a real treat. They’re warm, toasty little bites of creamy custard nestled in a flaky cup— the kind of handheld snacks that just melt in your mouth. And you know where you can get some of the best ones? From Lord Stow’s Bakery.
Lord Stow’s Bakery was established by an Englishman named Andrew Stow. He then set his sights on Coloane Island in Macau and set up his bakery there on September 15, 1989. Known for their Portuguese-style egg tarts, Lord Stow’s Bakery expanded all over Asia, including the Philippines.
A classic that’s been around for a long time, Lord Stow’s Bakery has been popular among patrons because it’s not too sweet, and can be enjoyed by many. If you’re one of the many people who missed this, we’ve got great news. You might just be able to get some of them amid the quarantine.
Lord Stow’s Bakery recently dropped this bomb on their Facebook page and newly-created Instagram account, and we can’t wait! While nothing much has been revealed yet, we’re pretty sure that they plan on delivering. And when they do, you’ll be first to know!
Are you eggcited, too?
