How much are you willing to pay for your dream pair of sneakers? If you think the resale value of sneakers is ridiculous, then you should check out the recently-sold Nike “Moon Shoes”. This pair just broke the world record for the most expensive sneakers sold at an auction. It was sold for a whopping $437,500 (around Php 22M).

How did it become so sought-after? For one, only a handful of pairs of this model were made–only 12 to be exact. It’s also handmade by Nike Co-founder Bill Bowerman. Lastly, it is currently the only pair to exist in an unworn condition.
