Ruffa Gutierrez recently marked a proud milestone as her daughter, Lorin, officially graduated from college.
Lorin, Ruffa’s eldest with former partner Yılmaz Bektaş, completed her Bachelor of Arts in Advertising at Seaver College in Pepperdine University. She has been based in the United States since 2021, where she pursued her studies as part of the class of 2026.

On May 3, 2026, Ruffa shared a glimpse of the special occasion on Instagram through a video compilation of the graduation ceremony and their family celebration. Alongside the post, she wrote a heartfelt message reflecting on her daughter’s journey.
“Watching you grow into the independent young woman you are today has been my greatest joy,” she shared. “You worked so hard for this moment, and you deserve it all… This is only the beginning.”

The video shows Lorin receiving her diploma while wearing an academic stole featuring the Philippine flag. One moment captures Ruffa embracing her daughter, both appearing emotional during the ceremony. Family members, including Ruffa’s brothers Mond and Elvis, were also present to celebrate the occasion.
The post drew messages from friends and fellow celebrities, who shared their support and congratulations. Among those who commented were Vina Morales and Sunshine Cruz, who expressed how proud they were of Lorin’s achievement.
Earlier, Lorin also posted her own message of gratitude, acknowledging the people who supported her throughout her academic journey.
