In an Instagram post, Ruffa revealed that she has successfully defended her thesis proposal at the Philippine Women’s University (PWU) in Manila.

“I’m living proof that balancing work, family, and school is not easy but it is worth every moment,” she wrote.
She added: “This journey continues to remind me that it’s never too late to chase your dreams and finish what you started.”
The actress also shared that choosing growth and going back to school should not stop, regardless of your age or circumstances.
“Growth doesn’t stop, no matter your age or the season you’re in. I’m proud of myself for choosing to learn again, to challenge myself, and to keep evolving,” she said.
“To anyone out there who feels like it’s too late, you’ve got this!!” she concluded her post.
Following this post, her siblings, Richard and Raymond Gutierrez, sent her congratulatory messages in the comments section. Additionally, actresses Iza Calzado, Rufa Mae Quinto, Mariel Padilla, and Kyline Alcantara expressed their support towards her.
The 51-year-old actress has enrolled in the Master of Arts in Communication Arts program at PWU, the same university where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in 2022.
