Two iconic Filipino rock bands, Parokya Ni Edgar and Kamikazee, are finally stepping out of their hiatus to collaborate once again on a new song!
Chito Miranda, the frontman of Parokya Ni Edgar, shared the good news on his Instagram account in which he posted a photo of his band together with Kamikazee.

“Recording kasama ng Kamikazee,” Chito wrote in the caption. “Sobrang excited kami na marinig nyo yung ginawa namin.”
Kamikazee likewise shared the photo with their own caption: “Masaya Lang talaga pag nagkakasama. Abangan.”
This is their first collaboration since they worked on a cover of “American Junk,” APO Hiking Society classic, 13 years ago. They’re also best known for their team-up for their 2005 song “The Ordertaker,” which was a parody of a hit song by System of a Down.
