Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina just took to Instagram to flaunt a new beautiful ring on her finger given to her for Christmas by her non-showbiz boyfriend, Timmy Llana. But don’t send your congratulations just yet; this one isn’t an engagement ring but, rather, a promise ring!

“I thought it was just a Christmas gift but this guy… haaaaay,” she gushed in the caption of her post.
She also revealed what Timmy said in his speech before giving her the ring which had left her speechless.
“I didn’t honestly expect him to give his speech before he put the ring on me — ‘I promise to take care of you and will love you forever’ (YES NOT YET… but [it’s] a PROMISE RING!) I’m so much grateful and [100 percent] speechless when he said those words I love to hear,” she added.
