LOOK: Louis Vuitton Has Released a Kite Worth P600,000

A few weeks ago, Louis Vuitton released a new item on their website—a kite worth $10,400 or almost P600,000. The luxury item, named Monogram Kite on the LV website, unsurprisingly went viral online as netizens wondered about its mere existence. The kite bears the iconic LV print and is 5.12 x 29.53 x 3.94 inches in dimensions.

“The Monogram kite makes a stand-out gift for the outdoor enthusiast,” Louis Vuitton writes on the kite’s product page, and notes that the “playful piece” was first showcased at the Men’s Spring-Summer 2019 show which was held in Paris, France.

The kite features a technical nylon construction according to Louis Vuitton, featuring an allover Monogram print and a canvas carry case that, they write, is “presented in a standout red shade.”

Last September 2020, luxury brand Hermès came up with a 2 million peso leather mahjong set. A month later, Louis Vuitton also released a mahjong set, made of engraved jade and that costs a whopping 3.9 million pesos. Must be nice to be a crazy rich tita!
