With the MECQ many are wondering if Liquor Bans are imposed. Quezon City, San Juan, Navotas, Paranaque, Pasay, and Malabon had declared that their respective cities will be imposing a liquor ban.
In an Executive Order, Mayor Joy Belmonte of Quezon City announced the Liquor Ban effective August 4, 2020, until the lifting of the MECQ.
According to the Facebook Page of Pasay City Public Information Office, there’s a window hour for buying and selling of liquor from 8:00am-6:00pm.

San Juan City also announced the liquor ban through Mayor Francis Zamora’s Facebook Page.
Muli po tayong magpapatupad ng liquor ban mula August 4, 2020 hanggang August 18, 2020 o sa kasagsagan ng MECQ sa Lungsod ng San Juan. Para sa inyo pong kaalaman. Maraming salamat po.

In Navotas City, Mayor Toby Tianco announced that along with the Liquor Ban, their city will also be practicing market schedule and 24hour curfew for minors.
