Liza Soberano puts her Hollywood dreams on hold as she pursues a different path. In a recent exclusive interview, the former ABS-CBN star spilled the beans on her upcoming venture.
Apparently, Soberano is now set to enter the South Korean show business. This explains her recently launched series, “Liza in Korea.” The travel show is actually in collaboration with JJ Global, a South Korean production company on the hunt for a Filipino celebrity partner.

While working with them, Liza addressed the elephant in the room. “Siyempre, it’s my first time working with a Korean production company. There’s a bit of a language barrier,” she told Inquirer.
The Careless artist also revealed that she had been in talks with other production companies, agents, and managers in the K-entertainment industry. Despite showing interest in her though, speaking the language seemed to be crucial to them.
Nevertheless, it did not stop her. She started taking Korean lessons to overcome this challenge. In fact, she said that she is “really taking it seriously” and can now “speak a little.”
Liza Soberano has previously appeared on South Korean television through the variety show “Not Hocance But Scance” in July 2022. She also made her Hollywood debut in August of the same year in the film “Lisa Frankenstein.”
