Liza Soberano is living her dream in South Korea after she was invited to make a guest appearance on the Korean television show “Not Hocance But Scance (Vacation Not A Vacation).”
On her Instagram stories, the 24-year-old actress revealed that she took part in an episode that aired last night, July 25, and got to spend time talking with the show’s hosts Ye Ji-won, Ji-young Kang, Nicole Jung, and Soyou.
“Had my first ever [Korean] show guesting tonight on MBN’s ‘Not Hocance But Scance,'” she wrote. “Thank you to the hosts and guests of the show for making the experience fun and comfortable!”
The network’s Youtube page also uploaded a clip of the said episode where Liza was introduced to the four hosts while they were having a barbeque dinner. When asked what the purpose of her visit to Korea was, she answered: “[I am here] for a kind-of-vacation-kind-of-work. I’m just exploring Seoul and I’m a huge fan of K-pop and K-drama so I want to find work here.”
The hosts also kept praising Liza for her beauty, with Soyou joking, “I’m glad I’m not by your side.”

Liza recently transferred to James Reid’s management and has since been traveling around, meeting international stars in the US and in South Korea, in pursuit of her dream of having a career in Hollywood. In the past few days, she has done dancing collabs with Jay Park and iKON’s Kim Dong-Hyuk, and was also spotted hanging out with GOT7’s BamBam.
We’re definitely looking forward to more surprises she has in store for fans!
