BJ Pascual just released his latest vlog featuring the behind-the-scenes of Liza “Hope” Soberano’s GRAZIA Singapore cover!
As “one of the Philippines’ most captivating young actors,” Soberano graced the international women’s magazine’s cover for their June/July 2023 issue. And the man behind the camera? One of the Philippines’ top commercial/editorial photographers, BJ Pascual! Some of his glamorous works are featured in magazines such as Rogue, YStyle, Metro, Preview, and Scout, to name a few, with muses Anne Curtis, Pia Wurtzbach, Nadine Lustre, Catriona Gray, and Heart Evangelista. One of his recent masterpieces is Tatler Philippines’ July cover with Vanessa Hudgens!

This time, he brings us behind the scenes of his shoot with Liza Soberano for GRAZIA Singapore. And apparently, this is both Pascual and Soberano’s first Singapore magazine cover, as a photographer and a star! Working with Pascual for this project, Soberano said, “I like that everything was… it felt like a go-with-the-flow kind of thing. Like, we were just experimenting, seeing what works best, and then everything came out perfectly. I’d give it a hundred.”
In the video, Pascual shared multiple layouts, including outtakes. From which, Soberano’s favorites were the YSL layout–the one where Soberano slayed in a burgundy leather jacket and sheer knit maxi dress, and the Louis Vuitton layout–the one where Soberano donned a swimsuit paired with a vest and boots.
