Kris Aquino shared an update on her health condition after being offline for the past few weeks, revealing that she has to “make a brave choice.”

In a lengthy Instagram post, Kris revealed that not having frequent social media posts about her condition was done “on purpose.”

“On purpose matagal akong hindi nag upload (I did not upload on purpose). I have to admit [that] if I told you what was happening, some of you may stop praying because my autoimmune diseases were increasing in number and my life-threatening ailments needed me to make a brave choice,” she wrote.
“Trust me, it’s difficult to accept every night when I sleep that there may be no tomorrow for me,” she added.
The television personality revealed that she stayed at a private beach for almost two months to regain her health and be more in touch with her faith in God.
” I came to a decision—I have another 6-8 hour infusion session in 6 days, it’s one of the strongest autoimmune immunosuppressants, together with my 2 other, 1 taken daily, and 1 given via injection will totally wipe out my immunity… I will be in preventive isolation for 6 months,” she opened up, adding that she would live in their compound in Tarlac.
The 54-year-old personality also explained why Joshua, her eldest son, has not been included in her social media posts.
“Where is kuya? Since the deaths of his Lola Cory, Lola P, and tito Noy, seeing me frail, weak, often attached to my IV drip—kuya is traumatized, visibly shaking, repeating ‘Mama get well, I love you…’ For now, he’s living with my genuinely super loving cousin,” she told followers.
Moreover, she expressed her gratitude to her youngest son, Bimby, for being a strong pillar during these difficult times: “Bimb, now 18, has sacrificed much to take care of me. He is heaven’s gift, my optimistic adult who reminds me I should never surrender.”
Finally, she appealed for everyone’s support and prayers as she faces this major health challenge.
“After a few more scheduled tests & treatments, and my recuperation—Bimb and I are ready to reveal all & show you everything for the first time. PLEASE CONTINUE PRAYING kailangan na kailangan ko (I really need your prayers),” she shared.
Kris Aquino has been diagnosed with multiple autoimmune conditions. Despite this, she has been vocal about her health, keeping fans and followers updated.
