When life gives you lemons, turn them into lemonade, right?
That’s what Kim Chiu did after her viral Bawal Lumabas video. After people made fun of her for the confusing statement, she thought of making the viral video into a single.

She even struck a record deal and released an official Bawal Lumabas song, which garnered a lot of views online.

With this, the actress took a step further and released limited edition Bawal Lumabas merchandise to raise money for charity. Chiu also shared a post on Instagram wearing different Bawal Lumabas shirt designs. According to the actress, proceeds will go to food packs and to Angel Locsin’s mass testing project.

In her post, she said, “Sana masabi na natin na one day pwede na tayong lumabas na LIGTAS (Hoping that one day we can say that we can all finally go out safely).”
