Kathryn Bernardo is off to Seoul, South Korea this September to attend the 18th edition of the Seoul Drama International Awards and accept an award.
The Filipina actress was hailed as “Outstanding Asian Star” by the Seoul-based awarding body last July for her performance in the rom-com TV series 2 Good 2 Be True. The awarding ceremony will take place on September 21 in Seoul, where Kathryn is set to represent their team and accept the award.

In a press conference, Kathryn honors her 2 Good 2 Be True castmates and team as well as her fans.
“Hindi naman siya mangyayari if not for the fans, my ‘2 Good 2 Be True’ family, kami nina (Gillian Vicencio), direk (Mae Cruz-Alviar,) (Daniel Padilla), and everybody,” the 27-year-old actress said.
She added, “Ma-nominate pa lang doon, sabi ko okay na ‘yon. Hindi ko naman in-expect na lilipad tayo roon to receive an award. What a way to end this movie, mayroon pang mga remnants ng mga pinanggalingan na TV series, nakakatuwa.”
