The first trailer teaser of “A Very Good Girl” is here!
Star Cinema has finally dropped a sneak peek of the much-anticipated comeback film of Kathryn Bernardo. In this dark comedy film by Petersen Vargas, the “Asia’s Box Office Superstar” shares the screen for the first time with Golden Globes nominee Dolly De Leon!

The movie reportedly follows the story of two self-made women. “It’s going to be a dark comedy, but with a lot of sass and class. We want to serve this fantasy of representing the frustrated and powerless generation through Kathryn’s character,” Vargas told Preen in an interview.
In the teaser, Kathryn’s character appears to have recruited De Leon to her side to pretend as her mother. However, things turn sour when the latter is revealed to be a murderer. It seems like the two are set for a face-off!

“A Very Good Girl” release date is on September 27, 2023, only in cinemas!
Aside from Kathryn and Dolly, the upcoming Star Cinema film also stars Jake Ejercito, Angel Aquino, and Chie Filomeno, to name a few.
Prior to this, Kathryn Bernardo’s latest projects were the 2019 film “Hello, Love, Goodbye” with Alden Richards and the 2022 drama series “2 Good 2 Be True” with her boyfriend, Daniel Padilla. Recently, she was named “Outstanding Asian Star” at the 2023 Seoul International Drama Awards.
Dolly de Leon, on the other hand, starred in the 2022 Cannes Film Festival Palme d’Or award winner “Triangle of Sadness” where she made history by being the first Filipino nominated at the Golden Globes. She was also nominated for the Best Supporting Actress award at the British Academy Film Awards, and ultimately won the title at the Guldbagge Awards.
