Nearly a decade ago, Kathryn Bernardo and James Reid were part of rival loveteams that defined an era of Philippine television. Fans were either rooting hard for Kathryn and Daniel Padilla (KathNiel) or James and Nadine Lustre (JaDine). Seeing the two stars work together felt out of the question.
Fast forward to today, and that unlikely scenario is finally happening.

ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape Entertainment first teased Kathryn’s teleserye comeback, which was already enough to excite her fans. The real surprise came when they announced that James Reid would be joining her in the project.

The announcement quickly set social media abuzz, with timelines filled with shocked reactions, nostalgic throwbacks to the loveteam days, and plenty of disbelief that this crossover is finally real.
It makes sense, though. Both Kathryn and James have long proven they can shine on their own. Kathryn has led blockbuster films like The Hows of Us and A Very Good Girl, cementing her as one of the most bankable stars in the country.

No release date has been announced yet, but one thing’s for sure: this teleserye will be one of the most talked-about projects the moment it airs.
