IV of Spades has truly contributed to the new wave of OPM and Philippine sound. With their unique tracks and catchy songs, we find ourselves transported to a hipper place, where wearing tinted sunglasses is totally in. They’ve done a lot for us and their fans are truly dedicated to supporting them.
Which is why when they announced yesterday, August 21, that they’d be taking a break, many fans were sending them messages of love and support despite their sadness. The comments section flooded with hearts and kind words praising them and showing them that they’d cheer the band on no matter what would happen.
“The band decided that we’ll be having a break from all the things that we’ve been doing together for the past few years. We will be busy pursuing some other personal interests and take a needed time off as a band,” they wrote on a Facebook post on August 21, 2020.
