A few months ago, rumors swirled that Park Seo Joon is joining the cast of the Captain Marvel sequel, titled The Marvels.
In a report by Soompi, industry representatives said that he will be flying to the US in the second half of the year to shoot. He will join the production after completing filming for Concrete Utopia.
Now it looks like it’s confirmed since the news was announced on PSJ’s Facebook page by his agency, Awesome ENT. We noticed, however, that the statement doesn’t say what MCU movie he is shooting.
The statement reads, “Park Seo Joon confirmed his appearance in The Marvel Studios movie and left the country this afternoon.”
It adds, “First of all, I would like to thank the many people who have shown interest and support for Park Seo Joon’s new challenge. I am well aware that many people are curious about the name of the work, the character, the filming location, and the filming period. More information about the movie will be announced at a later date.”
The statement ends with, “Please support Park Seo Joon so that he can return home after filming well.”
Accompanying the post are photos of the actor at Incheon Airport for his flight to Los Angeles.
