Are you a tennis fan, or are you simply here to witness Pinoy history? Luckily, you can watch Alex Eala’s Wimbledon Round of 16 match against Jasmine Paolini through a fun and free public viewing.

On July 5, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that fans can watch the highly anticipated match at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City on Monday, July 6.
“Tara at suportahan ang ating Pinoy pride,” MMDA captioned its post.
The PhilSports Arena will open its gates to the public as early as 5:30 PM, while the match is scheduled to begin at 8:30 PM.
The watch party is free for everyone, encouraging fans to arrive early to secure their seats since admissions are on a first-come, first-served basis.
According to the social media post, the public viewing was organized as part of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s initiative to support the Filipina tennis star as she continues her campaign in the prestigious tournament. The watch party is also supported by the Pasig City government and Mayor Vico Sotto.
On July 4, Alex Eala made history for the Philippines as she dethroned defending champion Iga Swiatek in the third round of the 2026 Wimbledon Championships.
