Wearing a shirt that says, “No is No,” Bong Go, Rodrigo Duterte’s chief-of-staff and legal counsel filed the mayor’s Certificate of Candidacy for re-election as Davao City’s mayor at the Comelec office in Magsaysay Park, Davao City today. Previously, a statement of Duterte running for presidency surfaced via Facebook post.
News is quick to spread around social media.

Majority of the netizens were somewhat disappointed with this. Most even tried to debunk the legitimacy of the photo.
Although the COC has already been filed today, many are still not buying it especially with recent moves like Inday Sara Duterte shaving her head and encouraging supporters to do the same to show support for his father.
Apparently, there might still be a chance even if Duterte has already filed his COC today.
