The tech world is buzzing after Honor turned heads at the MWC 26 event in Barcelona. While most brands are just talking about software, HONOR decided to build something you can actually see moving. They just gave us a glimpse of the future by revealing a smartphone that acts like a robot and their very first humanoid machine.
Honor CEO James Li calls this device a new species of smartphone. It is designed to be more than just a screen in your pocket. This phone has a tiny, motorized camera arm that moves on its own. It is built to nod or shake its head to interact with you while you talk to it.

The tech inside is just as impressive. The camera is built with a 200MP sensor and a special motor that is much smaller than anything else on the market. This allows the camera to stay perfectly steady while it follows you around the room. Whether you are on a video call or filming a vlog, the phone uses AI to track your movement and rotate up to 180 degrees. It can even dance along to your music. Fans won’t have to wait long to get their hands on it, as it is expected to hit shelves in the second half of 2026.

The biggest surprise of the night was the debut of HONOR’s first humanoid robot. To show what it can do, the robot joined James Li on stage to dance and strike poses for the crowd. This machine is not just for show, though. HONOR says they are designing these robots to help people with shopping, check on things at work, and even act as companions at home.

Beyond the robots, HONOR also showed off the brand new Magic V6. This is now their thinnest folding phone ever, measuring only 8.75mm when closed. It is even slimmer than the previous model, making it easier to carry around. They also rounded out the event by introducing a new tablet and a laptop, all packed with smart AI features.

This massive launch is part of a bigger plan HONOR calls Augmented Human Intelligence. They want to make sure that AI is not just a tool you use, but a part of the hardware that makes your life easier and more fun.
