Chiara Causaren posted her experience on Facebook about a GrabTaxi ride she took last night.
According to her post, she forgot that she was charging her phone on the taxi and left it there when she got dropped off in front of her house.
Since she took GrabTaxi, she was able to track it and call it. Before she can even talk to the driver, the taxi she took was already honking in front of their house.
Her phone was returned safely to her.
She mentioned that a few months back, she and a friend found a phone in a taxi, and they tracked the owner to return it. For her, it was good karma giving back.
She also commended how nice and courteous the honest taxi driver was.

I was at the airport earlier and decide to get a taxi via @grabtaxiph then only 1 accepted my booking and that is kuya Wilmer Ramos. We check the route via @wazeph kasi knowing las pinas coastal pa lang traffic na! So no choice coastal after the agreed route naki charge ako ng phone sa kanya. Habang nasa daanan kwentuhan kami he’s from LP din kaya ayun daldal pa more hehehe. Then nakarating na kami ng bahay bumaba nako relax relax tapos naalala ko naka charge ung phone ko sa taxi. I told my mom nag panic siya ako Hindi hehehe kasi I know that I can track naman the no. And details by driver so we called my cp ring lang ng ring tapos after the 3rd call my bumubusina na sa labas at dali dali si kuya Wilmer bumaba ng taxi sabay abot by phone ko with pacenxa pa siya kasi binaba nya daw ung maleta ko sabi ko agad Thank you Lord sabay thank u kuya. Good karma will hit you back talaga remember a few months ago me and @sassylor got a phone sa taxi also and I track the owner of it. Nakakatuwa lang kasi when you help someone without expecting in return karma will hit you more than what you give.
