For my breakfast, I tried their crispy fried danggit with garlic rice, sunny side up egg and achara on the side. I paired it with a very hot brewed coffee for a truly yummy treat!
Apart from all-day breakfast meals, this cozy café also serves à la carte dishes, sandwiches, desserts, coffee concoctions as well as non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
Of course, my trip will not be complete without trying the delectable sweets at Dulce Vida located at the ground floor beside the hotel’s main entrance.
Dulce Vida is the pastry line of one of Davao City’s prominent Spanish restaurants, Tiny Kitchen.
For a relaxing ending to my busy day, I dropped by the Body Bliss Palm Massage located beside Dulce Vida and treated myself with a combination massage of Thai, Swedish and Shiatsu.
Guests can also avail of laundry services from the Wash Pod located beside Body Bliss Spa.
All these amenities were carefully selected to provide guests with complete hotel services without leaving the premises. In 2016, Globalcrest Properties, Inc. is set to expand the hotel and put up another building just beside its current location.
Home Crest Residences is also a prime mover for a cleaner and greener environment. Its “Live the Green Dream” advocacy aims at conserving power and maximizing the use of renewable source of energy by using solar heaters and encouraging people to reuse towels and linens in order to minimize the use of detergents that are harmful to the environment.
The hotel is also a member of Zero Carbon Resorts, “a project that aims at reducing the carbon footprint of the tourism industry in the Philippines, by increasing energy efficiency and switching from fossil fuel to renewable energy resources.”
As Sales and Marketing Manager Juliet Villarico said, “Home Crest Residences strives to do its part in saving the environment through our green initiatives. Stay at Home Crest for we care enough to make you feel at home.”
So if you are planning to visit Davao City, book at Home Crest Residences. It is one of the best value hotels I have stayed in: competitive rates, comfortable rooms, good service and amenities, and accessibility to a shopping mall and local attractions. Most of all, it is eco-friendly. That’s best value for money and good for the environment!
