Grimes is selling a piece of her soul, literally, and here’s how much

You might know Grimes as a singer. You also might know her for giving birth to X Æ A-Xii, her son with Tesla Founder Elon Musk.

To make things more interesting, the singer is now selling a piece of her soul. According to Bloomberg, Grimes is hosting an online exhibition show where she is apparently selling a piece of her soul to the highest bidder.

The ‘artwork’, Selling Out, is a piece of a legal document where the purchaser acquires a percentage of Grimes’s soul. The piece was initially supposed to be sold at $10 million, but changed it to the “best offer.” Grimes tells Bloomberg, “With the current state of the world, do you want to put something up for $10 million?”

Grimes’ online exhibitions will be on Gallery Platform Los Angeles from May 28 through June 3, and Maccarone Los Angeles from May 28 through Aug. 31.
