It looks like Grimes and Elon Musk’s baby, X Æ A-12, got its “first update.” Their baby’s futuristic name has confused many because of how unusual it is.
Due to this, people were curious about how the baby’s name will appear on records. The constitution of the state of California only allows the of use the 26 alphabetical characters of the English language for names. With this, Grimes revealed the updated name for their baby boy.
A user on Instagram commented on one of the musician’s posts saying, “Did you change the baby name because of Californian laws? What is the baby’s new name?” Grimes responded, “X Æ A-Xii,” revealing the change of the “12” in the baby’s name to roman numerals.
She also responded to another comment and said, “Roman numerals. Looks better tbh.”
X Æ A-Xii is Musk and Grimes’ first child together. Musk has five other children from a previous marriage.
