We all got sad when it was announced back in June that Lucifer has only one season left. The production team, as well as the cast members, have been quiet regarding the details of the show’s final season. However, on July 26, it was announced on Twitter that Lucifer will have six additional episodes added to the original ten announced.

It looks like Lucifer’s send-off is going to be a pretty big deal if it had to extend for more than half of its original season length. I personally believe it’s what he deserves! The show has a dedicated fanbase that has been rallying for it to get picked up again for another season but I think six more episodes is a good compromise. It leaves a lot of room not only for growth but for closure as well.
