Cha Eun-woo is ADORABLE. I’m sure a lot of you will agree, especially if you’re a fan of Astro or of his acting chops in various KDramas. Well, we were able to join his first solo fan meeting in Manila yesterday; and whether you were there or not, you need to see these photos of what went down at the event.
Our Favorite Moments from Cha Eun-woo’s First Solo Fan Meeting in Manila
He opened with a song wearing his actual costume from ‘Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung’.
When he first came out on-stage, he was dressed in his actual costume from the recently concluded series ‘Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung’, really proving that he looks good in practically anything.
He kept saying ‘pak na pak’.
Although he said ‘mahal kita’ several times during the fan meeting, what really got to us was how he repeatedly said ‘pak na pak’ with a thumbs up all throughout the show.
He proved just how good his memory is.
During one of the segments, he was asked several questions about his lines and even his actions in ‘Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung’ and he blew us all away with how much he remembered from the show. He even knew parts of it better than what was given in the script!
He gave away the cap he was wearing.
There were a ton of giveaways for lucky fans throughout the fan meeting, but one of the most OMG-I-wish-I-won items was the very cap he was wearing during the Q&A segment.
He sang ‘Love Yourself’ by Justin Bieber while playing the piano.
As if it wasn’t enough to get us swooning while playing the piano, Eun-woo also sang a beautiful version of Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’ as he played. The entire New Frontier Theater couldn’t help but sing along with him.
He sang ‘Kathang Isip’ by Ben & Ben.
Probably THE best moment of the night, though, was Eun-woo flawlessly singing ‘Kathang Isip’ by Ben & Ben. He doesn’t even speak Filipino, but he pulled it off so well. Everyone was amazed!
He made dreamcatchers on the spot for lucky fans.
Although he had never made dreamcatchers before, Eun-woo showed us just how good he is with his hands by making two Astro logo-inspired dreamcatchers on the spot to give to two lucky fans. He shared that he watched YouTube tutorials to prepare for the DIY segment, but that it was actually his first time attempt at making them. Impressive!
Without a doubt, it was an unforgettable night for Eun-woo and Astro fans, and we can’t wait for him to come back to Manila again – which he promised us he definitely will.
