Available in four colors–Pomelo Pink, Sand Tan, Aqua Blue, and Orange—Cachette bags reflect the tropical country they hail from, and not unintentionally: the bag’s designers made a conscious decision, using data from consumer surveys, to offer shades that standard laptop bags don’t usually provide. In fact, though Cachette’s chic aesthetic looks effortless, every element is actually the product of empirical research from the members of Poppins, a twenty-four employee strong student company under the JAPI–Junior Achievers Philippines, Inc.–umbrella. Run by enterprising young women from Miriam College, Poppins is actually an entry company to JAPI’s annual enterprise competition.
