It seems like COVID-19 is quickly catching up to the Philippines as 10 new confirmed cases are reported by the Department of Health (DOH).
At a press briefing with Assistant Secretary Maria Rosario Vergeire, she said that results from tests from March 6-8 were just released making the COVID-19 Cases in the Philippines at a total of 20.
“Rest assured that the Department of Health (DOH) is maximizing all channels… to immediately identify and isolate if needed, those who had contact with confirmed cases,” said Health Secretary Francisco Duque III.
The authorities are now checking who these cases got in contact with as an effort to contain the situation.
