Dimples Romana addressed the breakup rumors between Angel Locsin and Neil Arce. In a report by ABS-CBN News, the actress denied the speculations, confirming that her close friend is still happily married.
“I get to see her naman, she’s very, very happy and happily married, and Neil is taking very good care of her,” she said.
The couple hasn’t posted photos together on social media, while Angel’s last post was dated August 2022, which fueled the breakup rumors. With that, Dimples emphasized that social media posts are not the basis of a relationship.

“The thing is, people are so involved with social media that we think if we don’t see married people posting online together, parang hiwalay na sila [they seem to be separated]! No po! Hindi ibig sabihin wala sa social media [It doesn’t mean it’s not social media], doesn’t mean it’s not happening,” she added.
She even mentioned that taking time off from social media can be a good thing, “Kadalasan sa social media pa galing yung frustrations mo, yung comparison mo [Most of the time your frustrations came from social media, your comparison..] with the life of others, and when you pause a little bit and know that not everything on social media can be helpful to you, you’ll be able to recognize that you too can have a happy life like Neil and Angel, na halos offline sila [they’re almost offline] but they’re very, very happy.”
Dimples also expressed excitement and support for Angel’s possible return following her showbiz hiatus. In 2022, the couple was also hounded by breakup rumors, which Neil called “fake news.” They tied the knot in 2021.
