Dimples Romana couldn’t help but get emotional during the wedding ceremony of her closest friend, Angel Locsin, as seen in pictures posted on both of the actresses’ Instagram accounts.
“Excuse me… are you the mother?” Angel joked on her post which featured Dimples crying and wiping her tears as she witnessed the courtroom marriage. “Ang pakiusap ko lang (All I ask is), let’s protect Dimples Romana at all cost. Mahal na mahal ko yan (I love her so much).”

Dimples also shared a photo of her and Angel hugging as she said, “Only tears of joy for you mars [Angel] and your northern star [Neil Arce].”
“Thank you Mr. Arce. You have made my best friend heart find peace and comfort in knowing that my Huling Bantay will forever be loved and looked out for,” she added.
At the time of the couple’s big reveal on Saturday, August 7, which happened through the last seconds of their “Moving In” vlog and subsequent Instagram posts, Dimples wrote the following sweet message to them:
“Like the way you have our backs, MR and MRS [Neil Arce and Angel Locsin], we will always have yours. [Boyet Ahmee] and I are honored and humbled to have been part of this beautiful moment and like what our beloved Mayor [Lino Cayetano] said, Kapag mawala pa lahat (When all else fails), HOPE, FAITH and LOVE remains, truly you are each other’s treasure. Anubaaaaaaa naiiyak pa din ako (Oh my, I’m still emotional)!!!”

Angel and Neil got engaged in June 2019 and were originally going to tie the knot in November 2020. Due to the ongoing pandemic, however, they had to postpone the date to 2021.
The couple had only been dating for a year but have been close friends for nearly a decade.
