It’s been over a month since young celebrity couple Barbie Imperial and Diego Loyzaga confirmed their amicable split following their first anniversary. Now, netizens are starting to wonder if the two are making plans to reconcile after they’ve recently been spotted together in public.
But what does Diego have to say about all this?

“We’re good, we talk,” he told ABS-CBN News during a press conference for his latest movie “Adarna Gang.”
However, he asked the public not to insist on the issue as they both are okay with the way things are right now between them. “Please let’s not get to that,” he continued. “We are friends and that’s what matters for now. She’s in Davao now. We are good friends. There is no bitterness on my part.”
He also shared this to Cosmo.ph in their own interview: “We said that in the get-go. As soon as we came up with the news, as soon as Barbie told ABS that we have broken up. She said naman we didn’t end on bad terms. Although I’m sure a lot of people have stories that would say otherwise, even close friends of ours, wala namang ibang nakakaalam kundi kaming dalawa lang, eh (no one else would know the real story apart from us two).”
Previously, Barbie admitted that their breakup wasn’t a “bad” one and that they are in good terms in spite of it. She added that she and Diego both understand that they are still young and need to focus on learning and growing more at this time.
