It was an exciting day last Wednesday, June 5, as the number one women’s magazine in the country and my personal bible, Cosmopolitan Philippines, invited a number of beauty and fashion bloggers to Blo Blowdry Bar in Serendra and treated us to a blo out session while unveiling the latest from Cosmo.ph.

Now with a cleaner and sleeker look, Cosmo.ph complements the magazine with tips on relationships and career, trends in fashion and beauty, the scoop on women’s health and well-being, and what’s happening in pop culture and entertainment.
The site also contains new features such as the Cosmo on Campus tab, which caters to college students. The Purse Paparazzi showcases the contents of celebrities and famous icons’ bags, and its sometimes unusual finds. My favorite is the Hunk of the Day, where you get to vote if you’d rather Do, Dump, or Marry the featured hottie.
While I had my hair done in Pillow Talk curls, available on Blo’s hair menu, good friend, former softball teammate and Cosmo.ph’s Editorial Assistant, Gianna Banzon, showed me around their revamped site. I was also able to meet and have lunch with the rest of the Editorial Team to talk about Cosmo, including Managing Editor, Jillian Gatcheco.

It was definitely a fun makeover session with the rest of the bloggers. Blo Blowdry Bar, with branches in Serendra and Rockwell, gives a whole new meaning to hairstyling without you having to cheat on your hairdresser. You can choose from an array of styles from their Hair Menu. The Pillow Talk is a soultry, tousled, messy beach waves type of look that I loved so much.
