Coldplay was just recently in Manila, finally performing for their Pinoy fans who have waited 15 years for the band to come to the country. Coldplay is one of the most popular (and celebrated) bands in the past two decades, and for a good reason. Their songs arrow straight to the heart. Some of their best hits have become sort of an anthem of romantics everywhere, and I think I speak for everyone when I say Yellow and The Scientist top that list.
Speaking of The Scientist, Facebook page Vocals Only stripped down the ballad by removing the melody and just retaining Chris Martin’s cold, soothing vocals. Curious what the track would like so bare? Watch and listen below:
Unsurprisingly, the song still sounds freaking amazing. Only goes to prove why Coldplay is one the most beloved bands on earth. They’re just amazing.
