The Circle Hostel has been a favorite choice of accommodations for young Filipino backpackers for many years. With their beach-inspired structure, very affordable rates, and always friendly community, travelers who seek a more laid-back traveling experience always find home at The Circle Hostel, whether at their location in La Union, Baler, or Zambales.
But The Circle Hostel has made an announcement that broke their patrons’ hearts: two of their locations are closing its doors, due to the “rollercoaster” of the past half-year during the pandemic.
See their announcement of the closures of their Baler and Zambales locations below.

In the caption, they wrote:
“It is with deep sadness that we have to say ‘Goodbye, (for now) Good Vibes Gang.’ It has been such a rollercoaster these past few months, and we have come to the conclusion that the Baler and Zambales hostels must close their doors.
Thank you to everyone who has joined us in Baler and Zambales, over the years. Thank you to the local community that we became part of. Thank you to the hardworking staff members that became members of our hostel family. There truly were no strangers.
The La Union hostel remains open to welcome you back. For inquiries on existing protocols, regulations, and rates, please send us an email to lu@thecirclehostel.com.
We love you!
Your Circle Hostel Fam”‘
In their latest post, they write that they are feeling more nostalgic now that they’ve made the announcement, and ask everyone who has great memories at The Circle Hostel Baler and Zambales share their stories online. “Upload it to your Instagram feeds, tell your story, tag us @thecirclehostel, and use the hashtag #MemoriesAtTheCircleHostel. We’ll share as many as we can,” they wrote.
