Amuse Bouche
For starters, we were served with Fresh Baked Oysters from Bordeaux France with Hollandaise Sauce. The oyster was indeed fresh and tasty! It made me ask for more.
Pepper?
After serving our first dish, our server asked us if we wanted some pepper on our oyster. Then he took out a huge pepper mill.
VOGA – Spumante Italy
I opted for a glass of fresh orange juice. And believe me, this is the yummiest and freshest orange juice I’ve ever had!
Fresh Orange Juice
Next, they served us soup to warm our stomaches. It was perfect for the chilly weather that night.
Interesting! This was at the bottom of our bowlsÂ
Carefully serving/pouring out our soup
Lentil Soup
The soup was really good and addicting! Lentil Soup with Double Smoked Bacon and Sour Cream. I immediately finished my bowl and was really looking forward to the next dish!
Art piece made up of wine bottles
Our next dish was beautifully “wrapped”/prepared. We were all curious as to what is waiting for us under the cover.
All wrapped up!
Tada! Moules a La Maison
We were served a bowl of Steamed Mussels, Shrimps and Fennel in Rose Wine. I love that everything smelled and tasted fresh with a hint of the rose wine.
Comas – Viogner France
We were almost full by the time they served the main dish. But before that, they served us a “shot” of sorbet to clean/cleanse our palates.
Sorbet d’ Amour
This was actually the highlight of ,u night! I was so in-love with their Red Rose & Raspberry Sorbet that I had to ask for my husband’s share. You can really taste the hint of rose with every sip.
After enjoying this small shot of heaven, we got excited for the main dish.
Salmon Cuit Lentement
Salmon
The presentation itself would already give you the impression that this will be one tasty dish! Slow Smoked Salmon, Lentil Cassoulet with Hollandaise Sauce. The salmon was cooked to perfection! It was soft yet really meaty. I love the lentil underneath as it complimented the already flavorful taste of the fish.
Yes, it looks yummy and is indeed yummy!(:
Camas – Rose Syrah France
After our sumptuous meal, it was time for us to try out their dessert. And as expected, it did not disappoint at all!
 Bavarois
Yogurt Orange with Ripe Mango Sauce. The yogurt was not that sour which made me crave for more. It was really creamy and thick!
Everything they served us that night was well-prepared and had a unique European twist with every bite!
Wine selection
The owner, Bastiaan van Der Walle carefully selected each wine that came with our meal, as well. He also offers a wide selection of champagne which you can enjoy when you dine at Caviar, though.
So if you want to have a “luxurious fine dining experience you will never forget”, you should try and dine at Caviar Restaurant and Champagne BarÂ
when in Manila.
