This coming holiday season, Candid Coffee has debuted two distinct coffee blends: the JMC and the Cherry Rum Cake. And both come with a unique flavor profile of their own!
The JMC and Cherry Rum Cake
A blend loosely inspired by a certain Christmas icon, the JMC “brings back the nostalgic and timeless appeal of ‘barako’ brew”. This is achieved by blending Liberica blend (harvested from Batangas) with Arabica beans from South Cotabato. Thus, the tasting notes include peanut brittle, jackfruit candy, and tablea chocolate — tons of local flavors.

On the other hand, the Cherry Rum Cake is a BERRY festive blend inspired by the lovechild of a fruitcake and a black forest cake. The blend features an experimental coffee from Colombia and natural-processed Arabica beans from Mt. Apo. When sampling this blend, you will get notes of rum, cherry, blackcurrant, pound cake, and cacao nibs. Yum!
