Cafe Noriter: A Playground and Cafe Rolled Into One

Oreo Cheesecake – P 110.00 per slice

A visit to Cafe Noriter won’t be complete without trying their Oreo Cheesecake. This soft cheesecake combines the subtlety of cheesecake with the chocolate-y goodness of Oreos. It evokes a balance of flavors where the Oreos do not overpower the cheesecake (a common error in most Oreo cheesecakes). Aside from that, the cake is not too sweet, so no umay factor.

Mallow Cake – P 95.00 per slice

We also indulged in Cafe Noriter’s Mallow Cake. The thick marshmallow creme frosting is a delightful partner to the chocolate cake. The moist chocolate cake was yummy and exudes a strong chocolate taste. The chocolate ganache adds further flavor, but I think the ganache also made it too sweet. Unlike the cheesecake, this cake is quite sweet for my taste.

Chocolate Doughnuts – P 50.00 each

Another bunch of sweet treats! Cafe Noriter’s chocolate doughnuts were also among the hits according to my friends. The doughnuts were good renditions of the classic doughnuts (soft dough + warm chocolate frosting).

Honey Bread – P 140.00 , Blue Lemonade – P 100.00

Lastly, we opted for something that is not too sweet. Another bestseller of Cafe Noriter is their Honey Bread. Sloshed in whipped cream and topped with sprinkles of Cinnamon, I could easily tell why this is one of the bestsellers. The bread’s flavor is subtle and there are no complexities involved in eating it. It can be classified as the ultimate comfort food (I can totally see myself browsing notes while eating this).

We washed down our meal with Blue Lemonade (for me), Vanilla Frappes and good old Cappuccino.

Cafe Noriter is a fun place to be in the middle, before and after an exam week (we call this hell week in our university). The whimsical and dreamy atmosphere of the place will soothe your nerves and put you at ease. More than good food, this place offers a delightful hang out for you and your friends.
